CUE report reveals that universities are admitting unqualified students
The Commission for University Education (CUE) has revealed that universities have been admitting unqualified students for undergraduate programmes.
In a report released at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, the commission noted that universities have greatly flouted admission guidelines.
In a recent audit, it was discovered that students have been using bridging courses and pre-university qualifications that are not recognised by the law to enrol for undergraduate programmes.
